This is a collector's piece of memorabilia and is 1 of a set of 15 that supporters can collect. Sock Tags were created in 1972 by artist Paul The Beaver Trevillion. The original sock tags included the player's number and players would sign the back of the tag then hand them out to young fans building a unique relationship between the players and the supporters. The original tags are highly sought after by collectors and Trevillion has now designed a special edition, replacing the numbers with portraits of the FA Cup winning players and management team who won the FA Cup, the first and only time in Leeds United's history. Part of the Sales will go to the Leeds United Supporters Trust and the Cup Final Former Players. Each tag will feature a magnificent reproduction of TREVILLION Leeds legends artwork on material and which mirrors the size of the original '72 sock tags, plus white frill finish to the bottom edge. |
