Paul Trevillion has been described as the Pele of Sports Artists, a visionary and sports marketing guru, recognised for his distinctive 'Master of Movement' pen & ink artwork capturing the the legends in sport since the early 1950's in the Tottenham Hotspur Lilywhite Magazine. Paul Trevillion is a proud Honorary Member of the Leeds United Supporters Trust, known as 'The Beaver', he won the confidence of Don Revie and the Leeds United team in 1972 and went on to revolutionise football making Leeds United the first modern day football club ... inventing sock tags, target balls, pre-match warm ups, names on back on tracksuits, and the man who ensured Leeds United anthem 'Leeds, Leeds Leeds' was created. In the late 1980's Trevillion created DJ Bear the Panda of Peace who became the Football League's Official Mascot… Co-founder/artist behind the FOOTBALL WALK OF FAME (launched in 2016 at the National Football Museum)… has appeared in major exhibitions (Strand Gallery, London; National Football Musem) in museums: FIFA Museum (Zurich);National Football Museum..commissioned from around the sporting world’s governing bodies, Football Association, PFA, NFL, MBA, Nascar, MLB (Baseball). In 2017 Trevillion was commissioned by Snickers to work alongside PELE in a European Snickers campaign ‘Play Like Pele’, creating original artwork of Pele in action, and appearing together in an advert alongside the worlds greatest footballer.
At 88, still a full time working artist....a very BUSY BEAVER!
